Specialist Support for Students Who Learn Differently

I’m Rupert, a fully qualified teacher with 18 years’ experience. I provide 1:1 and small group maths tuition for neurodivergent learners (ADHD, autism, PDA, dyscalculia), anxious students, and creative thinkers who’ve lost confidence in maths. This is mainly at secondary level but I have also started working with some primary students as well. 

I focus on the whole student, not just the grade, creating calm, structured, and personalised learning spaces. My approach is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-aware, and designed to build trust, confidence, and understanding — using visuals, themed resources, and step-by-step strategies.

I work with students who benefit from consistency, gentle progress, and learning that makes sense to them, helping them reconnect with maths and gain independence.

Private tuition for those working at a Primary level. Lessons can be individual or in a small group. In person tuition in Elstree or online (individual only).

I'm a photographer who captures the chaos and magic of growing families. I work on location in nature or at client's homes.

At Key Sounds UK our mission is to build confidence, communication and a community through our piano and music theory services.

We are grateful to work closely with families and individuals, nurturing musical talent, highlighting the transferrable skills music has to offer and providing guidance and support during a student’s musical journey.

We have grown from a solo piano teacher to a team of 11 tutors and 2 support team members within our leadership team.

KidsArt teaches core art skills to children aged 4-16. Art history is gently woven in.

KidsArt offers term-time weekly classes, holiday camps, parties, private classes and art scholarship tuition.

Preparation for the SW Herts and similar 11+ entrance tests offering mock tests and tutoring for academic, music and sports exams.

I provide private music lessons in violin, viola, and piano for children and adults, following a traditional classical approach. While these are my main instruments, I also offer lessons for other instruments, when required, on collaboration basis with other teachers, ensuring flexibility to meet students’ needs. My teaching emphasizes strong technical foundations, musical expression and confidence building through gaining knowledge and skills. 

I also prepare students for ABRSM graded exams, 11+ music and GCSE, while giving them the opportunity to perform in recitals and concerts that celebrate their progress.

I am an English and Maths specialist tutor offering personalised, face-to-face SEN intervention lessons for pupils with learning difficulties, including Dyslexia, Autism, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, ADHD, auditory processing difficulties, and speech and language needs. I support children in bridging gaps in their learning while building confidence, resilience, and independence. I also work with gifted and talented pupils and provide targeted preparation for the 7+ and 11+ entrance exams. All tuition takes place in pupils’ homes across North West London.
